Strategic Directions

QAIS is an association of diverse English independent, not for profit schools in Quebec, which value the unique qualities of Quebec and foster relationships and collaboration whereby member schools develop individuals who will make long term contributions to society.

Our Mission:

As a community of diverse, innovative, independent schools, the QAIS actively promotes collaboration among our member schools to ensure high quality educational experiences for all students that allow them to thrive in and contribute to Quebec society.

Our Vision:

To be a leading voice of outstanding English Education in Quebec.

As an organization, QAIS has three main pillars in its Strategic Plan.

1. Advocacy and Sustainability:  Within this pillar QAIS will, among other things, communicate the value of Anglophone Independent Schools within the Quebec society and promote French language and Quebec culture in QAIS schools.
2. Professional Development: Within this pillar QAIS will provide high quality and diverse professional development for QAIS School Leaders, faculty and staff and create a resource for them to seek out additional professional development opportunities.
3. Marketing: Within this pillar QAIS will promote the organization among local and international families, as well as support the recruitment of outstanding faculty and staff for its member schools.
