St. George’s School of Montreal Social Studies – High School Teacher Description: This is a full-time regular position at our High School. Some grades and groups are taught in French and others in English. This role can also be 2 part-time roles which would be divided as follows: 68% Social Studies taught in English and 50% Social Studies taught in French.
What you’ll do: Teach Social Studies at our High School.
Skills, Experience and Attributes Required: Degree in teaching Social Sciences at the secondary level from an accredited university Quebec teaching certificate Classroom experience Bilingualism
Who you are: Collaborative, curious, a team-player, eager to learn and to share, interested in community involvement and sustainability A strong communicator in English and French, adaptable and organized Willing to commit to the full co-curricular program and actively participate in the School’s Faculty Growth Plan Interested and/or experienced in differentiated practice in the classroom
