The Faculty Intern/Athletics role consists of substitute teaching during the day and coaching a variety of sports in the afternoon. LCC is looking for dynamic, recent Education program graduates who are able and willing to work in the classroom and be dedicated to coaching in the afternoon and weekends, when needed. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in and out of the classroom.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coaching a variety of teams
  • Substitute teach classes that can range from Kindergarten to grade 11
  • Accompany teams on away trips
  • Plan practices and organize team events

Qualifications:

  • Education degree
  • Have experience in a variety of sports
    • Hockey, soccer and basketball experience are valuable assets
  • Passionate about coaching and working with students
