We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Junior School Recess & Lunch Monitor

Start date: Immediate

Part-time: 20 - 25hrs/week

Monday to Friday - 9:15am to 2:15pm

ECS is seeking a Junior School Recess & Lunch Monitor to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic and forward-thinking setting and understands with us that education changes lives. Reporting to the The Extended Day Program (EDP) Coordinator, the Junior School Recess & Lunch Monitorsupervises students during lunch and recess. This person must supervise children to ensure a positive and safe environment during lunch and recess periods by working closely with the Junior School staff and administration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in the supervision of students during lunch and recess.

Use appropriate behavior management techniques to maintain a positive climate.

Communicate, collaborate, and cooperate with colleagues, supervisors and students.

Transition groups to and from school and playground in a safe and organized manner.

Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year-round.


High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Proficiency in English. French is an asset.

Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset.
