Position Requirements

  • Full-Time Position
  • Master’s Degree Required, in Educational Psychology or related field
  • Oral and written fluency in English and French
  • Relevant background in a related field: Inclusive Education, Educational Psychology, Integrative Education, Teaching
  • Experience in a coordinating position is an asset
  • Knowledge of learning disabilities, giftedness, and general accommodations legislation is an asset
  • Experience with technology used for accommodations an asset

Position Description

  • Manage a team of Enrichment Specialists who support students from Kindergarten to Grade 11
  • Coordinate the services of the Enrichment Department
  • Create and implement Student Success Plans (SSPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators and parents to monitor student success all Study students
  • Support teachers in improving upon pedagogical practices, including leading Professional Development workshops
  • Coordinate after school support programs, including Study Space workshops and Helping Hands
  • Coordinate and schedule student accommodations throughout the year and during the exam periods, including accommodations for the College Board for AP and PSAT exams
  • Coordinate early intervention services, including reading benchmarks
  • Communicate with parents and professionals regarding student accommodations and student progress
  • Develop and facilitate a variety of study skills classes for different grades as needed, with a specific focus on Grade 7 to ease their transition into high school
  • Coordinate internship opportunities with local universities and mentor student-interns in their projects
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ministry guidelines for student accommodations
  • Contribution to the student experience and life of the school
