Audiovisual Technician

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Audiovisual Technician is responsible for the development, organization and coordination of all technical aspects of audiovisual productions for events, presentations and shows. He/She will also assist staff and students in the realization of projects and performances. He /She will also help with IT support and the daily management of mobile computing devices such as laptops and iPads as well as Level 1 IT support.

If necessary, he/she will be required to take photos and shoot videos, as well as do digital video editing and digital sound recording work.

The candidate must have:

  • A college diploma in electronics technology audiovisual option) or hold a diploma or an attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by a competent authority.
  • Experience with the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere) or Final Cut Pro is an asset.
  • Mac OS, Windows PC, IOS experience, as well as the Google suite are an asset.
  • Be organized and punctual


  • The regular work week is 35 hours from 8am-4pm, five days per week, in person.
  • Must be available to work evenings for events as required.
