IT, MEDIA AND AV TECHNICIAN - DIGITAL CARETAKER Would you like to be part of a close-knit team committed to challenging, guiding, and encouraging both students and staff to achieve their personal potential? Trafalgar School for Girls seeks a committed, innovative, problem-solving IT, Media, and AV Technician - a digital caretaker who will troubleshoot various issues to support the faculty, staff, and students with all their electronic needs. They will report to the Director of Communications and work closely with the IT Committee and Ed-Tech Educator. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can diagnose technical issues and provide support to fix them, either by resolving the issue, providing step-by-step instructions to the user, or providing backup solutions when necessary. They will be the main point of contact for students and staff with technical issues and serve as the main reference point for all IT and AV questions. They will also support the Communications Director with the posting of social media content and assist in maintaining the school website and related media uploads. The school supports both Windows and Apple devices, along with several Audio Visual peripherals, including projectors and a podcast/radio recording studio, several printers, and a variety of devices, including tablets, laptops, and desktops. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - College degree in IT OR technical training from accredited programs (has Apple Certifications, Google Certifications, etc.)
- Critical thinker and problem solver, able to find solutions on their own
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to take the initiative, multi-task, be flexible and detail-oriented
