The Parents' Guild of The Sacred Heart School of Montreal will host a 4-hour Self-Defense Workshop for Mothers & Daughters given by George Manoli at the School on Saturday, May 9, 2015.This workshop is open to all QAIS schools.
George Manoli is a crime prevention officer with the Montreal Police Force. He has been teaching and empowering women with his 'hands-on' self-defense programs for over 35 years. Participants learn in a 'hands-
on' fashion practical, effective ways of asserting themselves and if confronted, to confidently stop the aggression or fight back using full force, disabling responses against a fully padded assailant. They develop the necessary mind-set to deal with the fear, confusion and panic that occur during a violent confrontation
This workshop includes three modules: theory and prevention; striking tools if confronted; and hands-on attack
simulation and feedback. For more information about George Manoli, you may visit www.manoli.ca.
